Taco Soup Recipe:

🥩 2 lb ground meat

🌽 2 cans of whole corn (add the liquid)

🍅 2 cans of Mexican stewed tomatoes (regular works too)

🥫 2 cans of ranch-style beans (any kind of beans works)

🧅 1 chopped onion

🌶️ 24 oz jar of picante salsa (or your favorite salsa)

🌮1 packet of taco seasoning (use your favorite or this one)

Start by browning the meat in the pot, adding the onion for a flavorful twist. Then, toss in the rest of the ingredients and let it simmer for 45 minutes or throw it in the crockpot on low for 3-4 hours.

Scoop up a bowl of Taco Soup and savor the taste of quick, easy, and delicious.

Crockpot Hot Chocolate recipe!

• 2 cups of chocolate chips (choose your favorite kind)

• 2 cups of heavy whipping cream

• 1 can of sweetened condensed milk

• 6 cups of milk

• 1 teaspoon or a splash of vanilla.

Set your crockpot to low for 2 hours, and there you have it!

Serve this warm goodness with whipped cream and marshmallows for the perfect movie night companion. And guess what? If you end up with leftovers, just pop them in the fridge for a tasty encore the next day.

P.S. My favorite is 1 cup dark chocolate chips and 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips!😊

  • Time Travel through History: Pick a year and delve into its movies, music, and news. It’s an engaging activity for both you and the family, offering a variety of rabbit holes to explore. This one is super fun! Look up 1939 and see what was going on.
  • Green Fingers in Winter: Start a winter garden, whether in pots or a designated spot. Plan and research the vegetables or flowers you’d like to grow for a refreshing touch of nature. Winter growing kit
  • Hobbies Galore: Dedicate time to a long-desired hobby. Join local groups, like “Ladies of Texoma” on Facebook, or explore other platforms to connect with like-minded individuals.

Cranberry Pearls

The ultimate snack for your taste buds! Dive into the world of delightful spheres, a perfect blend of tart cranberries and the sweet notes of Prosecco and citrus. These addictive pearls are your go-to treat, and here’s the simple recipe to create your own culinary masterpiece:


– 1 ½ packages of fresh cranberries

– 1 bottle of Prosecco

– ½ gallon of orange juice

– 1 cup lime juice

Powdered sugar


1. Soak fresh cranberries in a tantalizing mix of Prosecco, orange juice, and lime juice for 24 hours in the refrigerator.

2. Drain cranberries and coat them generously with powdered sugar.

3. Arrange the sugar-kissed cranberries on a foil-lined baking sheet.

4. Bake at 200 degrees for just 5 minutes to achieve perfection.

Savor the nostalgia and warmth of my family’s cherished Peanut Butter Chocolate Squares. A quick and delightful dessert, these squares have been a constant in our home since my childhood. Passing down the tradition, I’ve shared the joy of making them with my daughters. These treats are not just a delicious addition to any party, but a heartwarming part of our family’s holiday celebrations.



– 2 sticks of melted butter

– 2 cups powdered sugar

– 1 cup crushed graham crackers (I use gluten free)

– 1 ½ cups peanut butter (opt for sunflower or almond butter for a twist)

– 2 (12 oz) bags of chocolate chips (mixing semi-sweet & dark chocolate)


1. Melt the butter, then add peanut butter, powdered sugar, and crushed graham crackers. Mix together.

2. Spread the mixture evenly in a 9×13 baking dish.

3. Melt the chocolate chips, and generously spread it over the peanut butter layer.

4. Pop the dish into the refrigerator, allowing the squares to firm up for 2-4 hours or until they reach the perfect consistency.

5. Once set, cut into squares and serve these irresistible treats.
